“You may go through difficult times, but when the long, dark night is over, you will emerge wiser and stronger.” - Virginia Satir

Hello and Welcome!

I am Kaitlin and I am proud of you for considering therapy. That in itself speaks to your internal strength.

I recognize when it comes to seeking therapy, scrolling and searching through websites and profiles, then when you do find a therapist you're interested in, reaching out can be the most intimidating part.

Therapy Approach

You are unique; your life has been made up of internal and external experiences that create the mosaic individual that you are. Which is why I lean into utilizing a holistic approach that integrates more than one therapeutic approach tailored to your goals. I pull from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Art Therapy.

With my academic, employment and personal experience, my foundational approach to therapy is highly relational. Many of the challenges and concerns we experience arise from relational experiences, genetics, and health. That is, they were born out of our exposure to relationships with others and the world around us, the genetics of your heritage, and physical and mental diagnosis. You can curate your own well-being with someone who you truly trust, feel safe with, and is genuine and ethical. We all need safe people to be vulnerable with, this is human nature.
